ABOUT THE JOB

  • The Quality Inspector will spend most of their day reading technical drawings and specifications, and use standard metrology devices such as digital calipers and micrometers
  • Perform audits of the manufacturing and quality control processes to ensure compliance of our operations, and assist in the correction of nonconformity found
  • Inspect products as assigned, utilizing proper inspection equipment
  • Assist in containment activity completion or audit as assigned
  • Complete administrative work associated with documentation of issues and their corrective actions
  • Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders. 
  • 2nd Shift - 3:00pm - 11:30pm, possibly 1st 7:00am-3:30pm

ABOUT YOU

  • Quality experience preferred
  • 3-5  years experience in a manufacturing environment, with one or more years involved with inspection
  • Ability to read and interpret basic product drawings in English
  • Experience standard metrology devices such as digital calipers and micrometers
  • Must be able to effectively understand and communicate process/product requirements and have the ability to interface with all departments
  • Must have drive, intelligence, and high expectations of getting results through self and team
  • Must be proficient with common PC applications: Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week, plus overtime, with reliable and consistent attendance
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards 
  • Must have good communication skills, with the ability to carry out written and verbal instruction
  • Basic reading, math, computer, and measurement skills required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
