Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead contract lifecycle management in Greater China in accordance with internal policies and procedures to effectively mitigate risks to Company
  • Receive and process contract review or draft requests through contract management software system (Conga Contracts)
  • Facilitate approvals and signatures on legal documents, including designation of authority per company policies, through contract e-signature software system 
  • Provide legal support on contract drafting, review and negotiation of all types of contracts
  • Effectively work with business personnel to understand customer and vendor situations for successful contract negotiations
  • Update and develop standard documentation to protect Company's best interests on contractual commitments, balance and optimize risks, gain greater commercial benefits
  • Prepare and deliver country and enterprise-specific training on relevant and topical issues for best practices in risk mitigation
  • Provide daily legal counsel concerning transactional, operational, regulatory, labor and general corporate matters
  • Support corporate teams on transactional documentation and due diligence related to Greater China operations

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in the legal profession
  • Familiar with the administration of contract management systems and electronic signature platforms
  • Working knowledge and understanding of civil law
  • Understanding of general contract structures and standard contract provisions
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work well while managing multiple, competing priorities and maintaining a strong focus on detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate well within all levels of the organization
  • Must read, write and speak English fluently
