Supply Chain Management Manager, ASEAN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

#1: Customer (End Users)

• Oversee and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
• Manage and monitor inventory levels to balance supply and demand, reducing excess inventory and stockouts.
• Develop and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.
• Handle customer service issues related to shipping, delivery, and returns.

#2: Process / Performance

• Implement and maintain supply chain best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage and oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and inventory management teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

#3: People

• • Maintain current knowledge of products, manufacturing processes and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of supply chain professionals, including procurement, logistics, and inventory staff. Provide clear direction and support to ensure team alignment with organizational goals.

• Requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own areas and knowledge of other areas

Supervisory Responsibilities

• 3+ direct reports
• Manages a generally homogeneous team; adapts plans and sets priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
• Has performance management and people development responsibility for managers or associates
• Provides subject matter guidance to associates, colleagues and/or customers

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCP) preferred.
• Proven experience in supply chain management with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

• Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possess good knowledge in SCM and D&L experiences.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills to deliver high quality executive-ready presentations.
