Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design new and optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Lead global projects to implement improvements.
- Analyse data, develop schedules, and build business cases.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and forensic analysis.
- Create technical documentation and global standards.
- Provide guidance to Design-for-manufacturing Engineering.
- Support commercial teams in meeting customer needs.

- Acquires general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields, and ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate the company in the market

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of engineering experience in product development.
- Experience of Manufacturing processes for machining Stainless steel. CNC turning, Milling, metal printing etc.
- Knowledge of materials and post treatments, i.e. Passivation.
- High precision, high volume micro component manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel.

- Experience in Design to contribute to design for Manufacture.
- High precision, high volume micro component manufacturing experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Proficient in CAD (PTC Creo preferred).
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools (SPC, DFMEA, FMEA, DOE).
- Ability to work with global teams and manage priorities.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decisions
- Hands-on capability in machining, or mechanical assembly
- Track record of starting up new manufacturing spaces, shops, or toolsets from scratch
- Comfortable operating in an R&D-heavy environment with evolving requirements
- Supplier development
- Fluent in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings
- Strong grasp of production quality systems and documentation
- Comfortable in both design reviews and on the shop floor—able to move seamlessly between them
- Clear, direct communicator across technical and operational teams
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
