Temporary Logistics Specialist

What to Expect

We are looking for a Logistics Specialist to join our Turgutlu Plant on an 11 month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. In this role, you will coordinate all export and domestic shipments, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with customer and customs requirements.

You’ll work closely with warehouse, customer service, and forwarding partners to manage transport, documentation, and tracking activities. With a focus on accuracy, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement, you’ll help keep our logistics operations running smoothly and reliably.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• This position conduct all Export and Domestic logistics activities comply with Customers,Forwarder Agencies,Custom Agencies and Warehouse,
• Processes all F.F. and Aftermarket customer shipping releases on a timely and accurate basis to meet customer specifications.
• Process all procurement issues, shipping documents, customs paperwork.
• To arrange transportation for outbound shipments and to arrange inbound shipments if needed.
• Define tracking and monitoring system for all shipments.
• Works directly with Warehouse and Customer Service to get all information about volume, weight and packing of goods in order to update shipping details in the systems.
• Communicates regularly, clearly and professionally with forwarders, customs brokers and customers.
• Documentation of all shipments by PC incl. archiving the files
• Works with broker in order to optimize customs clearance costs such as customs overtime.

• None

Requirements and Preferred Skills

• 5-7 years of experience
• Fluency in English
• Requires “Business administration degree or  equivalent”
• Must have experience in an automotive supplier environment
