What to expect

 You will be part of our excellent Accounts Payable team, helping maintain the company’s financial obligations and supporting the Procure-to-Pay process, contributing to accurate and efficient financial operations. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately book all transactions in the system to ensure proper invoice capture and financial reporting.

  • Analyze account balances and reports to identify discrepancies and ensure corrections are made promptly.

  • Manage open Purchase Orders, including follow-ups with requestors, approvers, and suppliers.

  • Support the monthly closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial results.

  • Achieve results in line with team KPIs, contributing to the effective realization of overall team objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding open invoices, missing details, or booking clarifications.

  • Work closely with other departments within GBSE to ensure smooth operations.

  • Cooperate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient transactions and issue resolution.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

Essential Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in finance or accounting, including Accounts Payable / P2P

  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Accounting/ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus)

  • Good command of English (written and spoken)

  • Strong communication skills and fast learning ability

  • High attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks

  • Open-minded and adaptable

Desired / Additional Assets:

  • Experience in a P2P team within a Shared Services Center (SSC) or BPO

  • Knowledge of US GAAP

  • Track record of process improvement initiatives

  • Experience partnering across an organization to develop and drive regional initiatives
