What To Expect
We are looking for Senior EDI System Engineer that can be based in one of the location listed:
- Spain = Balsareny
- MENA = Dubai
- UK = Dumfries, St. Neots or Cramlington
- Poland = Wroclaw
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a regional roadmap for EDI, aligning priorities with commercial leadership.
- Vendor Management: Oversee EDI vendors and manage relationships to ensure effective service delivery.
- Onboarding and Support: Collaborate with internal teams to onboard new trading partners and provide ongoing training on EDI processes.
- System Monitoring: Configure, test, and troubleshoot EDI transactions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and promptly resolving technical issues.
- Communication: Establish strong relationships with trading partners, addressing inquiries and coordinating the efficient exchange of EDI documents.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve EDI processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy, identifying opportunities for automation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, sales, logistics, and customer service teams to streamline EDI operations and ensure compliance with data security regulations.

Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 8-10 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related technical discipline, with specific experience, or 10 years of relevant technical experience.
- Proven experience working with IBM B2B (Business-to-Business) and Seeburger BIS (Business Integration Suite) or similar software solutions used for managing and facilitating electronic data interchange (EDI) and business integration processes between different organizations and trading partners.
- Familiarity with EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, or industry-specific formats.
- Proficiency in EDI software and tools (e.g., EDI translators, VANs, AS2, OFTP2 and API connectivity).
- Familiarity with ERP, WMS and TMS systems.
- Given the international nature of the role and the need for effective cross-functional communication, a high level of English proficiency is essential.
