Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead pricing analysts and tech specialists to support activities inclusive of price changes coordination as well as quotation of complex IFF products such as Hose Assemblies, Engine Hoses, SCR, Tubes and PT products.
- Proactively lead strategic pricing projects for IFF EMEA.
- Collaboration with sales, finance, customer service, application engineers and product management teams to ensure customer and Gates expectations are fulfilled.
- Lead and direct pricing strategy formulation and take necessary pricing actions to enhance profitability, ensuring integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters as well as participation in price budget creation.
- Assist with pricing negotiations of customers’ proposals.
- Conduct presentations, field research and cost revisions.
- Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness, plus the ad-hoc analysis.
- Monthly Closing reporting: revision of pricing results and participation in creating new price forecasts.
- Determine the ideal target price for products of the business to analyze competitor pricing matched with market expectations.
- Translating and present complex data into actionable strategies to increase sales and profit.
- Lead the development and maintenance of pricing tools.
- Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data on products, costs, and markets to support development and presentation of appropriate price and bid strategy.
- Developing pricing intelligence by collecting and evaluating competitive data

- Guided by departmental policies, resource requirements, budgets and business plan
- Implements, Interprets and executes policies; makes process modifications
- Guides, influences and persuades others internally and/or externally
Supervisory Responsibilities
- 2 direct reports
- Manages a generally homogeneous team; adapts plans and sets priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges
- Has performance management and people development responsibility for managers or associates
- Provides subject matter guidance to associates, colleagues and/or customers
Requirements and Preferred Skills
- 8-10 years of proffesional experience with minimum of 5 years of pricing/sales/product management experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree - emphasis in economics, business administration, finance or mechanical engineering.
- Highly proficient in MS Office systems.
- Experience with pricing, quoting and data analytics software in a manufacturing / distribution setting.
- SAP, CPQ, PowerBI, Alteryx or pricing software transformation experience preferred
