Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily pricing requests for a specific region in Europe, ensuring accurate and timely responses to quotations received from the Customer Experience (CX) team and Sales representatives.
  • Prepare and submit product quotations in alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
  • Demonstrate independence and ownership of the pricing process, managing requests with minimal supervision.
  • Proactively take initiative in developing and proposing pricing strategies, including scheduling and leading meetings with the Pricing Manager and the Commercial team to align on pricing decisions.
  • Support and administer price support programs, ensuring consistency and compliance across pricing activities.
  • Act as a key point of contact between the Sales and Finance departments, facilitating clear communication and collaboration on pricing matters.
  • Serve as a backup to the Pricing Manager during their absence, providing leadership and continuity in pricing operations.
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to the Customer Experience team on pricing processes and best practices.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and execution of the annual price list, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Continuously analyze pricing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and support data-driven pricing decisions.

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 5–7 years of professional experience in Pricing, Finance, or related analytical roles, ideally within an international or matrix organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and good working knowledge of MS Office; experience using Power BI or other BI tools is a plus.
  • Solid technical background with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Finance, Pricing, or data management.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and clearly convey pricing insights to both commercial and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with SAP and/or SAP HANA is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
