Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities related to Environment, Health, Safety and Energy within the company
  • Ensure the coordination of Environment, Health, Safety and Energy management systems with the Quality system in order to achieve an integrated QHSE-E management system, compliant with standards and aligned with Gates’ objectives
  • Drive continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, Safety and Energy performance
  • Collaborate on system-related aspects with the Quality Manager
  • Lead the analysis of incidents, near misses and accidents to define effective action plans
  • Lead occupational risk assessments, exposure monitoring, and environmental and energy analyses
  • Synthesize information and propose associated action plans
  • Propose continuous improvement actions to reduce risks and continuously enhance Environment, Health, Safety and Energy performance
  • Participate in training and awareness initiatives for employees on Environment, Health, Safety risks and energy conservation, particularly during new hire onboarding
  • Consolidate performance indicators related to Environment, Health, Safety and Energy
  • Ensure preventive, corrective, investigative and awareness-raising activities across all HSEE topics
  • Participate in site certifications in Health, Safety, Environment and Energy, in alignment with the Quality system
  • Ensure compliance with Group standards, particularly adherence to LCR rules

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Reports to the QHSEE Manager

Requirements and Preferred Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • University degree or engineering degree, with experience in implementing a Health, Safety, Environment and Energy (HSEE) management system, as well as project monitoring
  • Training in methods and tools related to risk control in Health, Safety, Environment and Energy
  • Initial experience in an industrial and production environment is desirable
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage teams without direct hierarchical authority
  • Demonstrated flexibility and availability
  • Ability to lead meetings and facilitate working groups
  • Strong communication skills, both internally at all levels of the company and externally (CARSAT, DREAL, Labour Inspectorate, Occupational Health Services, etc.)
  • Autonomy and initiative across the different areas of responsibility
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory monitoring and awareness initiatives would be an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset to work closely with production operators
  • Fluency in English is required, enabling report writing and participation in meetings with international stakeholders
